Randy Smith is a vice president and Electronics Business Unit manager for Industrial Design and Construction (IDC), based in Portland, ¾«¶«Ó°ÊÓ.
He has been with IDC since the company's creation in 1985. Under Randy's leadership IDC's Electronic Business Unit has expanded into what is today regarded as the leading high-tech design and construction company. He has played an instrumental role in some of the world's most prominent high-tech projects for clients such as IBM, Rockwell International, Hewlett-Packard, United Technologies, Wacker, and Boeing.
In ¾«¶«Ó°ÊÓ, he has been a driving force in the development of high-tech research and manufacturing facilities for a variety of clients, including Intel. Randy is a licensed professional civil engineer in ¾«¶«Ó°ÊÓ and Washington, and a professional structural engineer in New Mexico, New York, and Washington.
